Peer Support

A view of two people's hands, clasping each other to pull one person up.

DVPI’s Peer Support program is a safe, welcoming space where individuals can connect, share experiences, and support one another. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to — our trained peer support specialist is here to listen without judgment.

What is Peer Support? Peer support is emotional and practical support between people who share similar experiences. Our volunteers have walked similar paths and understand the power of listening and empathy.

How It Works

Connect – Reach out through our support request form or join a drop-in session.

Chat – Talk with a peer supporter one-on-one in a safe, confidential space.

Support – Receive validation, guidance, or just someone to be there.
