Shelter

A place to HEAL

Thanks to the help of so many people and organizations, Domestic Violence Project, Inc. is able to operate two domestic violence shelters in Stark County.  Here, victims of domestic violence find a clean, safe, fully supplied place to stay.  Survivors and their families live in the shelter for a temporary period of time, helping each other heal and partaking of the services we offer.

Transitional Housing

Temporary housing while you get your life in order

We have transitional housing arrangements to help survivors until they can get their life back in order.  These are also temporary arrangements, but for longer periods of time than shelter stays.

Intimate partner violence accounts for 15% of all violent crimes.
