On Friday, June 7, 2024, we are inviting the community to join Domestic Violence Project, Inc. (DVPI) at Brookside Country Club for its annual fundraiser — Champions of Hope. We ask that you consider supporting DVPI’s mission by sponsoring and attending our event. This event enables our organization to continue to provide free and confidential 24/7 services to women, men, and children in Stark County and surrounding communities.
Along with shelters in Canton and Massillon, DVPI also provides transitional housing, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, and outreach services to domestic violence survivors. Last year, DVPI sheltered 329 women, men, and children in two emergency shelters and received more than 1,131 crisis emergency calls from individuals to DVPI’s 24-hour hotline. In addition, DVPI assisted over 1,100 survivors through our legal medical, and outreach and aftercare programs. All services are free and confidential and available 24/7.
With your support and generosity, DVPI is able to continue to provide this unique safety net of services to women, men, and children in Stark County. Our event will include many opportunities to support DVPI’s mission, including a live and silent auction featuring unique items in all price ranges.
