On Friday, September 9, DVPI will host our 18th Annual Putting for Hope golf outing at Spring Valley Golf Course, featuring a four-man scramble, shotgun start, best ball format. We ask you to consider opening your heart by partnering with DVPI in its mission and supporting Putting for Hope through a sponsorship. Your support can help provide safety and hope for a friend, a neighbor, an employee, or maybe even a loved one.
For over 44 years, DVPI has offered safety, compassion, hope and healing to victims of domestic violence and their families in Stark County and surrounding communities. Last year, we sheltered 247 survivors in our two emergency shelters, for a total of 10,057 nights. In addition, we received more than 731 crisis emergency calls from individuals in our community to our 24-hour hotline, served 48 adults and children through transitional housing, assisted 865 legal advocacy clients, and supported 341 clients through our victim services program.
With your generosity, DVPI is able to continue to provide this unique safety net of services to women, men and children in Stark County. Please join us for a day on “the green,” putting for hope. Together, we can end the cycle of violence. For more information, contact Ashley Huprich at 330-445-2005 or ahuprich@dvpi.org.
